WHY IS THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SAM AND JACK NOT SPOKEN ABOUT?!?!?

Everyone always talks about how cas and Jack are father and son which is accurate. But because of that a lot of people say dean is also jacks dad and Sam is the uncle??? NO??? Dean was such a bad person to Jack meanwhile sam always cared for him. Dean was horrible to him, people only say Dean is his dad because of destiel!!!!!! Cas and sam r literally jacks dads :((( deans kinda like the uncle who has Lowk beef with you . Sam loves Jack so much and their father-son relationship makes me so happy :<

The thing I love about Castiel's love for Dean is that, to the Plan, Dean's one part of a special genetic cocktail duo. Sam and Dean are these supersoldier main characters because God/Chuck designed them to be everything they are. But to Cas... He's the reason Castiel feels and that's what makes him special. When he's fallen he doesn't care that Sam and Dean are Winchesters. That's a name that comes with a lot of baggage and he has to deal with that but it's still just a name. Dean could be the most boring person in the world and as long as he had the love in his heart that Castiel admired Cas would have fallen anyway. That's a little of what he tried to communicate in the end I think.

This explains Lucifer and Castiel's relationship to me because Lucifer never truly rebelled. His rebellion was part of the Plan. Castiel not only rebelled but broke the Plan by doing so and he did it for love. Kept revolting for love. Changed the whole story for love. Lucifer doesn't know how to deal with that so he doesn't.

Side note: I know Dean's response is a meme at this point but I wouldn't have fared better. I'd be seismically overwhelmed too if an ancient celestial being told me everything they did (which includes changing the foundations of their being and shattering the cosmos) was for loving me and they never expected anything in return but for me to think well of myself. And I don't have a fraction of Dean's issues.

Got curious and guess what I found out.

Jack was born on a Thursday. May 18, 2017 was a Thursday. Who's the Angel of Thursday? Castiel. Guys he's literally Jack's Dad, it's quite literally destined. Cas is the guardian of Thursdays, it only makes sense Jack was born on one.

(Found this out cuz I was also born on a Thursday and got curious.)

Dean was born on a Wednesday.)

Talking about mommy issues... I'm not a 100% fan of Jack as the destiel son BUT it's important to me that going there means acknowleding that "archetypically" speaking Dean is The Mother while Cas is The Father*. And this isn't just because, when Sam accuses Dean of acting like their father, he replies with a Freudian slip if I've ever heard one ("I'm not his mother"), it's also why Chuck's myth-retelling doesn't work (Abraham is totally Cas and he and Jack subverted that myth) 'cause first he doesn't understand Dean and second he's not an astute storyteller and doesn't realize his story was already subverting the myth he wanted to re-enact. Therefore he should've created a situation where Jack (The Son) was forced to kill Cas (The Father) if he wanted to provoke Dean, this was Jack's original sin according to Dean, come on Chuck, it's been 14 seasons, everybody already knew Dean was not gonna kill Jack. He's totally fine with caging and entrapping his putative sons but he draws a line at killing them (insert that meme from Community). (I mean, I know Chuck wants Dean to do his bidding but after 14 years he had to get a little more creative than that. Maybe he should've listened to his editor Metatron, just saying. "maybe less about detail and more about balance") ((hello Becky and Metatron parallel)).

It would have also meant that Jack's story would've gone back to its genesis + the long tail of dead parental figures (not only Kelly and Cas but Nick/Lucifer and Mary and whoever else I'm forgetting lol).

By the end of s14 there is a short-circuits of symbols so it all had to go tits up, hence the rising of the dead etc. etc.

*This doesn't mean they are the Good Mother and the Good Father as they're clearly not but these are the primordial energies that they both channel to Jack. Also, obvs patriarchy in SPN is very much alive and well as demonstrated by the fact that the Good Mother and the Good Father are only the Dead Mother and the Dead Father and unfortunately for Jack this is what he got when he was born. He's not even born and he already lives in an ideal world with ideal figures compared to whom he'll always fall short.

Also, Jack's got the power to wake up from the Empty his putative father because his Mother (Dean) is grieving his death and he wants to please him: Jack is a total mama's boy.

Just finished watching 14x7 | Unhuman Nature for the first time and let me tell you. Sam, Dean, and Cas have never been fathers harder than the first like 15 minutes. Them just in the hospital being so worried as Jack's body is killing him. Dean being all extra worried parental figure and snappy because he hates hospitals. Cas being a worried parental figure because he promised Kelly he would take care of Jack and now Jack's dying and he can't do anything. And Sam just trying to hold the other two together while he tries to hold himself up because Jack dying is hitting everyone hard. None of them could sit still for very long. And Cas just constantly watches Jack through the glass doors, only moving away to stretch his legs. And when they make a split second decision to get Jack out because they've been there far to long for anyone's liking, all three of them practically bolt with Jack back to the bunker. It's just....this show tends to give you good stuff then make you watch as they kill it in front of you. So when you get stuff like this or the Dean & Jack trip it's like 'how are they going to rip this from us this time?'

Cas is the only one that actually loved Jack unconditionally. We see this in season 14 finale

Aside from the beginning of season 13 (And I have to say Dean's mindset wasn't invalid, though the threats were not okay) and then season 15 (which we all know the whole thing was bullshit except for canon gay Cas and Midam) Sam and Dean didn't treat Jack differently when it mattered. Both wanted to lock him in the box, they both wanted to kill him. Sure Sam was more hesitant but that doesn't matter and shouldn't matter. It can make you like him more than Dean but it doesn't make him a better father

They all loved him but Cas loved him the most. I'd say He loved him more than he loved Dean.

They should redo the last 3-4 season because they just threw characterization and development right out the window especially with Sam and Dean. Season 12 was alright I think but the rest was so like argh only reason I watch the last three is my baby boy
